From Bakewell take the A6 Matlock road, follow this till just past the signs for Haddon Hall where you take a right (the first major junction) for Youlgreave, the B5056. After about 1km take the first left over the bridge. You then take the first right turn, a steep lane with restriction signs (don’t worry there’s access for cars but no wide vehicles). Take the first left you come to by the barn and then just follow the road, up through the woodland where the lane narrows and turns steeply up hill, shortly after you’ll see Robin Hood’s Stride to your left, park up just after the gateway making sure to do so considerately, this may be a narrow back lane but is heavily used nonetheless, please don't block the farmers access to the fields.
From your car make your way over to the four remaining standing stones of Nine Stones Close from there walk past the stones and head to the corner of the field (bottom right) and the gateway there, go through and turn left, follow the wall to the gateway halfway along and go through that also, the cup marked stone is on top of the wall about 5 - 10 metres along to your right.

It seems that i may have been the discoverer of this stone as their is no mention made of it anywhere, if you know different please contact me with the details.
